Flore Mirror

Flore holds a drawing inside the mirror itself. The pattern — a tangle of stems that reads as a single flower from a distance — is sandblasted onto the back of the glass and painted black, so it sits behind the reflective surface rather than on top of it. The mirror doesn’t show a decoration; it shows a drawing trapped inside its own reflection.

The glass sits inside a frame built from MDF, painted a matte black that reads almost as void against the mirror’s edge. The frame is kept deliberately thin — 10 mm wide, 19 mm deep — so the object reads as a single circle on the wall rather than a mirror with a border around it.

Flore is made in three diameters — 500, 700 and 1000 mm — the same drawing, the same construction, scaled to the wall it’s asked to fill.
